Issues being faced by Punjab could have never turned into crises if there was coordination between the government and opposition, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Zaheeruddin said on Saturday. Talking to party leaders and workers from Lahore, Faisalabad and Narowal, he said that the Punjab government considered the opposition as its enemy adding that the government should accept difference of opinion with an open heart.
He claimed that the opposition never indulged in blame game and always played a positive role whether it was the issue of dengue, law and order or the economy. The PML-Q leader claimed that the prime minister did not encourage any group to form a forward bloc in the National Assembly. Zaheer said that Senior Federal Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi always welcomed proposals from the opposition during his government but the present provincial government never displayed this spirit.
