Can Section 144 knockout dengue epidemic?

In a bid to control the dengue epidemic, which is getting more severe in the city, the City District Government Lahore (CDGL) on Saturday imposed the Section 144. Lahore DCO Ahad Cheema ordered to impose Section 144 on charges of CBC tests and water accumulation in the city.
Private laboratories were bound to charge not more than Rs 90 from patients coming for CBC blood tests and private hospitals were restricted to perform these tests free of charge. Car wash on public places would be banned and all water tanks, swimming pools and waterfalls were ordered to be kept dry.
These orders were applicable from the time of issuance until the Section 144 was lifted.
