A 25-year-old unidentified man was found in an unconscious state with his neck slit open near Qartaba Chowk on Saturday. Police said the man’s hand and feet were tied up, while his neck was slit opened with some sharp instrument.
Pedestrians had noticed the man lying in the area and informed police, who took the man to Services Hospital, where doctors immediately performed surgery on him. Police said the man was going undergoing a major surgery and the doctors believed the man could survive. Police officials said nothing could be said of the incident until the man regained consciousness.
