Rotary Club donates laptop and books to Rising Sun Institute

Members of the Rotary Club of Lahore Garrison visited the Rising Sun Institute for mentally challenged children and presented a laptop, books for the library and a cheque for purchase of additional books for the institute.
The laptop was donated by the Rotary Club of Glenville, US. The books were collected by Interact Club of Lahore Garrison. Rotary President Asif Khawaja and Interact President Aaesha Shehzad made the presentations along with District Governor Pervez Ahsan, District Governor Elect Anthony Richards and Past District Governor Shehzad Ahmed. They also presented polio awareness material such as polio caps and pencils to the institute.
Secretary Shaheen Ahmed, Faisal Rauf, Asif Noor, Mujeeb Qayyum, Aamir Bashir, SEI Parvez and Interact member Harris Parvez were also present at the occasion. Earlier, Dr Abdul Tawab Khan, Perveen Tawab and other executive members of Rising Sun Institute welcomed the rotarians. Dr Tawab presented history and progress of the institute through a multimedia presentation. After the presentation of donated items, a visit of the institute was conducted. PR
