Habib Bank football team thrashed PEL by nine goals to one in the only match of the eighth Pakistan Premier Football League played at Peoples Football Stadium Karachi on Friday. Muhammad Mehdi scored the only goal for PEL in the 86th minute, while Khyal Muhammad opened the scoring from HBL in the 11th and later in the 68th minute. Muhammad Atif came up with a hat-trick by converting goals in the 25th, 48th and 51st minute. Atif and Ghazanfar Abbas scored one goal each in the 31st and 78th minute while Zakir Lashari and Muhammad Bilal produced goals in the 59th and 84th minute.
