Tahira Bibi, 35, was burnt alive by her aunt and cousin over domestic dispute in the Burki Police precincts on Thursday.
The deceased’s husband Qamar Zaman told police that her aunt Surriya along with her son named Kashif showered oil on the deceased and burnt her alive. As a result, she sustained serious burns and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Police have registered a case under section 302 against Surriya Bibi and her son Kashif on the complaint of deceased’s husband.
HONOUR KILLING: Salma Bibi, 15, was strangulated allegedly by her uncle in the Kahna Police precincts on Thursday for having illicit relations with a neighbour. On the day of incident, Sharif approached the girl and strangled her. She was shifted to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. Police moved the body to city morgue and registered a first information report against the accused.
MAN KILLED: Shabbir Hussain, 42, was shot dead by three unidentified killers over reasons yet to be known, in the Chuhang Police precincts on Thursday. Station House Officer of Chuhang Police Station Inspector Rafi Ullah Khan Niazi said the deceased was going somewhere on his car when three unknown killers approached him at Moza Rakhpura and opened fire on him. As a result he sustained multiple bullet injuries and died instantly. A case has been registered against unknown killers on the complaint of deceased’s brother Nazir Hussain.
ACCIDENT: Kiran Kaleem, 35, died while another woman, Sehrish, and a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in an accident at MM Alam Road in the Ghalib Market Police precincts on Thursday. All three were rushed to a nearby hospital where Kiran Kaleem succumbed to her injuries while doctors stated Sehrish and motorcyclist to be in critical conditions.
Police handed over the body of the deceased to her heirs and started investigating the matter.
