Both the opening day matches of the eighth Pakistan Premier Football League second phase ended in a draw on Thursday. In the first match, at Sharafi Godh Football Stadium, Karachi, Baloch Football Club held KPT to a one-all draw. It was KPT’s Zafar Majeed who took lead for his team in the 12th minute of the match and that remained in tact till Baloch Club’s Sanaullah found the cage in the injury time given to the teams at the end of the regular duration. In the other match, at Peoples Football Stadium, Karachi, PIA came from behind to draw against Muslim Club 1-1. Saeed Ahmed got the goal for Muslim Club in the 17th minute of the match while Shakir Lashari managed an equaliser in the 82nd minute of the match. Today, HBL will face PEL at Peoples Football Stadium, Karachi.
