Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Syed Mehdi Shah on Thursday disclosed that the government had delegated special powers to Rangers for maintaining law and order in the region.
He said, “We have allowed Rangers to shoot terrorists on the spot.”
He was responding to a question posed by a lawmaker Mirza Hussain, who quizzed the Treasury benches to inform the House regarding the strength of Rangers, GB scouts and police.
