CDA to spend Rs 85m on road maintenance in F/11

The Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), Imtiaz Inayat Elahi, has said the authority is committed to provide basic civic amenities and quality infrastructure to the residents of the Federal Capital within its available sources. He was addressing the ground-breaking ceremony of dualisation of Service Road (West) and necessary repair/maintenance work of existing road in Sector F-11, said a press release issued here.
Member of CDA Engineering Directorate Syed Ibrar Hussain Shah apprised the chairman about the project. He said it would be completed within a year at the cost of Rs 85 million including its drainage system. The CDA chairman said the F-11 Service Road (West) would be beneficial for the residents of Sector F-11 as well as for people of adjacent sectors and directed the departments concerned to ensure timely completion and quality of the project.
Instead of mega projects, he said, the authority has been paying heed to upgrade basic services during the current fiscal year.
All board members of the CDA and officers of the relevant departments were also present on the occasion.
