The Inquiry Commission on Abbottabad Operation Thursday recorded statements of officers of the police, intelligence and local witnesses of the area around Bilal Colony, Abbottabad, where US Special forces had conducted an operation allegedly on the compound of al-Qaeda chief Osama bin laden on May 2.
The commission, headed by Justice(r) Javed Iqbal, completed its interaction with officials and the people of the area. The officers gave perspective of their organisations about the events regarding Abbottabad operation. The local witnesses also presented their view point. The Commission also interacted with print/electronic media regarding the incident, to ascertain their view point on the subject.
