Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on the inauguration of ‘JAAG UTHO Voter Registration Campaign’ said the campaign was an awareness drive among the voters of Pakistan to get their vote registered. Addressing the party leaders and workers, he said the government had claimed that the Election Commission of Pakistan would send teams at every house from August 22 to September 30 for verifying and registering voters, however this had not started to date, adding that a large number of new voters were still waiting for these teams to come to their houses. Khan claimed the government was afraid of the new voters because they would vote for PTI and remove the corrupt incumbent rulers.
He said that the PTI has launched ‘Jaag Utho Voter Registration Campaign’ to counter the conspiracies of the government against his party.

  1. I wonder if there is any point the voting will still be riging, PTI is our last hope I hope they will do somthing for the best. Although I strongly believe the nation needs to change but that will take us into a debate so I shall stop here.
