Atif Aslam’s 9/11 surprise

Pakistani pop singer Atif Aslam performed with renowned American hard rock band ‘Guns N’ Roses’ rocking the stage with fusion music. He was seen performing Pink Floyd’s largely popular ‘Wish you were here’ and fusing it with eastern vocals while paying a tribute to the 9/11 victims. Terming the project a milestone in his singing career, Aslam said that he had the opportunity to work with the band”s former lead guitarist Slash, Gliby Clarke and Chris Martin.
He even said that by collaborating with ‘Guns N’ Roses’, he tried to bring the people of the United Stated and Pakistan closer. The pop singer also said that he would also like to invite other prominent Pakistani singers and musicians, including those doing classical music, to join hands with him when it came to work with the western musicians. He also admitted that he had recorded a Punjabi track with some of the band members, which was his own composition.
