Provincial law minister, Rana Sanaullah has said that Federal Interior minister Rehman Malik was adept at sending false and fabricated reports.
Talking to media outside Punjab assembly, he said that these reports could not be ignored, nor can these reports be discarded in dustbins; citing reports regarding concerns over the lives of Governor, CJP and other high ranking authorities.
He informed that while Pervez Elahi had been duly provided with adequate security, similar security had also been provided to recently abducted Shahbaz Taseer; only he eschewed security the day he was abducted.
He also scoffed Raja Riaz as lacking in sense.
“He (Raja Riaz) and Governor Punjab were akin to Dengue mosquitoes, dangerous and not treatable, besides being busy in corruptions”, he said.
Replying to a question, he said that whereas Zulfiqar Mirza was at least able to swear by Holy Quran, Rehman Malik could hardly even recite an easy Quranic Surat of Al-Ikhlas
He also said that both Governor Punjab and PPP were least bothered about any autonomous Seraiki province, and were rather using the issue to hoodwink masses; trying to embroil masses into ethnic and linguistic brawls.
