Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) Managing Director, Misbahuddin Fareed directed the engineers concerned of the water board on Tuesday to ensure proper functioning of all the pumping stations and smooth flow in all sewerage lines.
Fareed, visiting various pumping stations of the utility, ordered immediate repair of pumping stations in case of any fault.
He also directed for round the clock functioning of pumping stations under the supervision of senior officials.
The water board MD further directed the KWSB staff to coordinate with the city government employees to facilitate the people of Karachi during the heavy downpour in the city.
