Shalimar police on Wednesday arrested eight people for their alleged involvement in illegal activities during a raid at a house in sector G-11/1, a police spokesman said. On a tip off about illegal activities concerning the sex trade, a police team under the supervision of Sub-Inspector Mansha Shah raided house no. 902, street no.14 after acquiring a search warrant and arrested eight people identified as Nadia, Shareefan Lateef, Nasreen, Shehnaz, Abida Amir, Komal, Kiran and Munawar Masih. A case has been registered against them and further investigation is underway.
