Dozens of political activists of Jamshoro district joined the Awami Jamhoori Party (AJP), at a crowded press conference at the Kotri Press Club on Tuesday. According to a press release issued by the AJP, the fresh members of the party include experienced working class political activists as well as highly educated youngsters of Sindh, who after disappointment with existing leadership and personality ridden parties, joined hands with the AJP.
The newly joined AJP members include Imdad Panwhar, former district president of Awami Tehreek, Aijaz Soomro, Mukhtiar Chutto, Dhani Bux Barejo, Ali Sher Khoso, Tejo Mal, Mehraj Kirshan and others. On the occasion, AJP president Abrar Kazi welcomed the political activists in the party’s fold saying that democratic principles must guide the parties as the personality cult has disappointed workers. “The AJP stands for democratic struggle of the masses liberating them from feudal hold,” said Kazi
