Torrential rain wreaked havoc in Balochistan’s capital, where four children were killed and several houses were damaged as several areas came under water following heavy downpour.
In several low lying areas, water even sneaked into the houses, causing problems for the residents. Two children, Qudratullah and Samiullah, were swept away in rainwater in Chalo Barori. Another five year old kid lost his life when rainwater entered a house in Mitha Chowk. In another incident, a young boy, Bahadur Ali, died of electrocution on Jinnah Road.
Following these incidents, Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani has asked for report into losses.
