Punjab may relocate Governor House

The Punjab government is planning to relocate the Governor House to a smaller location, a private TV channel quoted provincial law minister as saying on Tuesday.
Speaking to journalists outside the Punjab Assembly, Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the governor could be shifted to one of the homes occupied by commissioners and deputy commissioners.
To a question, The minister said that there was no need to seek evidence relating to corruption charges against President Asif Ali Zardari because his name was already synonymous with corruption.
On the spread of dengue throughout the province, the law minister said that the Punjab government was doing all it could to deal with the virus.

  1. This is Like a ray of Hope for a better Future, from these otherwise hopeless and self serving people.
    I hope the Governor House is converted into a University or a College or a School.
    Even the NCA can be relocated here, from its cramped up place.
    Or for that matter, Covert it into any Educational Institute.
    A Governor sitting in these Acres and Acres of Prime Land is just ridiculous.
    And that too from a Party whose claim is to be for the People ?
    What a Joke !

  2. Excellent idea of relocating governor's residence! Punjab government should also move commissioners and deputy commissioners into smaller residences. Plus GOR1 and GOR2 should be downsized. Whoever is planning and thinking in Punjab govt. is on the right track. Please complete what you are planning.
