LCCA bans SPM Cricket League

A meeting of the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) was held under the chairmanship of its president Khawaja Nadeem Ahmad and the officials banned the SPM Cricket League Tournament declaring it illegal. The meeting was held on Saturday at LCCA ground which was also attended by LCCA Secretary Mian Javed Ali, Treasurer Sarfraz Ahmad and presidents and secretaries of all the three zones of the association. The executives of LCCA said that the SPM Cricket League organiser violated the playing conditions agreed upon by the association. The executives decided that if any of the voted and affiliated club will take part in the tournament, a stern action by the LCCA would be taken against that club.
