Lahoris witnessed isolated rain of two millimetres on Monday while the maximum temperature recorded in the city was 35 degrees Celsius.
Humidity remained 81 percent during morning but dropped to 62 percent in the evening. The Met Office informed that widespread rains with thundershower and isolated heavy falls were expected in Sindh while scattered rain and thundershower was expected in Punjab, Sibbi, Nasirabad, Peshawar and Hazara today (Tuesday). Scattered rain with isolated heavy falls hit Sindh on Monday but isolated rain and thundershower hit Upper Punjab, Peshawar and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
The latest meteorological conditions indicated that the strong monsoon weather system now lies over Southeast Sindh and adjoining areas of Rajasthan, India. Under the influence of this strong weather system, more widespread heavy to very heavy rain and thundershowers accompanied with strong gusty winds were expected in Badin, Mirpurkhas, Thar, Umarkot, Thatta, Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Dadu, Larkana, Karachi and East Balochistan during the next few days.
