Witnesses identify Kamran Madhuri, Suhail Commando in Karachi killings case


Kamran Madhuri and Suhail commando, two accused of deadly gun attack on a police van in Chakra Goth, killing four persons including three police personnel, were identified by complainant and four witnesses in the court.
The Zaman Town police produced the accused of Chakra Goth incident before Judicial Magistrate courts on stretchers amid tight security where complainant Ashiq Chandio and four other witnesses, Shahid Khan, Shehzad Alam, Afzal and Nazir also identified them. Both the accused are on remand till September 14.
According to the prosecution, at least four people, including three policemen, were killed and 30 others wounded when a group of 15 to 20 gunmen riding motorcycles opened fire on the bus carrying dozens of policemen on the night of Aug 19 at Charka Goth in Korangi.
An FIR was lodged on behalf of the state however the names of the arrested men were not mentioned. One accused was nominated by a private complainant Ashiq Chandio, a resident of Chakra Goth, in another deadly attack in which
two persons were killed and dozens suffered injuries.
On Aug 21, the police claimed arresting three suspects — Kamran Madhuri, Abdul Bashar Bengali and Sohail Commando — and released their photos to the media.
