On the directive of DS Railways, DCO Tariq Latif made surprise raid on 114-DN , 110-DN, 104-DN, 121-UP, 107-UP and 101-UP and caught 123 ticketless passengers who were fined Rs 46,000 on the spot.
Moreover the DCO also checked the luggage van attached with 41-UP with carrying capacity of 10000 kg and found it carrying 3845 kg in excess luggage. The brake van of 41- Up was also checked at Faisalabad
Railway station and was found overloaded by 630 kg.
The DS Railways recommended by that contract of 41-UP may be revoked and the contractor be blacklisted.
