Mastung, Khuzdar shut down after 2 more ‘killed-and-dumped’

A complete shutter-down strike was observed on Sunday in Mastung and Khuzdar districts of Balochistan against the killing and dumping of Baloch missing persons and Baloch political activists. The strike call was given by two factions of Baloch Students Organization Azad and Mohyuddin in Mastung and Khuzdar respectively against the killing of their activists.
The dead bodies of BSO-Azad leader Kaleemullah Saasoli and BSO-Mohyuddin leader Khalil Baloch were recovered from Mastung and in Khuzdar last week. Levies Administration confirmed identification of a dead body recovered on Saturday as belonging to BSO-Azad meber Kaleem Ullah. Saasoli was an active member of BSO-Azad and was kidnapped on 25 August 2011 by unknown persons.
All shops, markets and restaurants remained close in the both towns that affected the daily life. Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, a local organization struggling for the recovery of missing persons claimed that more then 200 dead bodies of Baloch missing persons have been recovered over past fourteen months from different parts of Balochistan.
