There are frequent breakdowns of electricity in F B area of the city. It has almost become a regular feature for the last one month that there is power breakdown daily from dust till late night. Several complaints have been lodged to the local power station but to the utter disappointment of all, no action has been taken as yet.
There is no denying the fact that how important is electricity in our day to day life. Life comes to a stand still without it. The students have to bear a great loss of study. In summer, without electric fans the rooms become ovens. Besides, there are swarms of mosquitoes to suck the blood of the people living in this area. Moreover, many hospitals and maternity homes are located in this area and such power breakdowns certainly cause great inconvenience to them.
I, therefore, request the KESC authorities to pay an urgent attention to the solution of this problem and thereby save the residents of this area from this miserable situation.
