On the tenth anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks in US, Pakistan reaffirmed its resolve to fight terrorism and urged the international community to work for world peace.
“Today, the world commemorates the tenth anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks,” said Foreign Office spokesperson Tehmina Janjua. “Pakistan stands with the United States and the world in honouring the memory of those who lost their lives on September 11,” she said. “As a country that has been severely affected by terrorism, we reaffirm our national resolve to strengthen international cooperation to eliminate terrorism,” Janjua added.
