Rangers and police continued search operation against target killers and criminals in Karachi and arrested 200 suspects on Sunday.
Sources said the law enforcement agencies personnel conducted search operation in the residential buildings located near Radio Pakistan building on MA Jinnah road, Jalalabad area of Nazimabad, Lyari, Nayaabad and Kemari on Sunday.
According to police sources, police and Rangers in a joint action took 200 suspected persons into custody and recovered heavy ammunition. The suspects were shifted to an unknown location for interrogation.
Speaking to media during the operation, SSP South Naeem Sheikh said the operation was launched on a tip off about the presence of suspects. He, however, refused to share details of arrests.
On the other hand, the Rangers recovered a huge cache of arms from a mosque and attached house while conducting an operation in Baldia Town area. The cache includes Kalashnikovs, repeaters, pistols and thousands of cartridges.
