Japanese goods worth Rs 37.5m for rain-hit people

The Japanese government has decided to provide through the Japan International Cooperation Agency emergency relief goods such as tents, water purification equipment etc equivalent to approximately 35 million Japanese yen (approx. $450,000/Rs 37.5 million) to the Pakistani government for the province of Sindh, which has sustained serious damages caused by the recent torrential rains.
 The Japanese government has decided to extend this aid from a humanitarian point of view, and in light of the friendly relationship between the two countries, taking account of the scale of the disaster.
