Scattered rain was witnessed in the provincial capital on Sunday. Partly cloudy weather with chances of rain would remain in the city for the next few days. Met Office informs that widespread rain and thundershower with isolated heavy falls is expected in Sindh whereas scattered rain with thundershower is expected in Punjab, eastern Balochistan, Peshawar and Hazara division today. Humidity increased in the city: 82 percent relative humidity was recorded yesterday morning which dropped to 67 percent in the evening. The latest meteorological conditions indicate that another strong monsoon weather system currently lying over central India is heading towards Sindh, thus more widespread heavy rain and thundershowers accompanied with strong gusty winds are expected in Badin, Mirpurkhas, Thar, Umarkot, Thatta, Hyderabad districts including Karachi from Sunday evening to Wednesday.
