Imran demands probe into Altaf, Zulfiqar charges

Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Sunday said every political party possesses an armed wing in Karachi which was the main hurdle to establish peace in the city. Addressing a press conference in Karachi, Imran said political parties were playing politics on base of language. Commenting on Altaf Hussain allegations against the anti-Pakistan elements, Imran Khan said Rehman Malik and President Zardari were the two sides of the same coin.
He said Zulfiqar Mirza’s charges against the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Federal Interior Minster Rehman Malik should be investigated and the apex court should take notice of them. Khan said the PTI would stand behind the free media and MQM and Mirza’s statements should not be overlooked. Khan requested the Chief Justice of Pakistan to conduct a detailed inquiry to evaluate Mirza and Altaf’s allegations. He said his party demanded Rehman Malik resign from his ministry and the Senate since he was facing serious allegations.
