Health orientation held

A one-day orientation workshop for newly-appointed health deputy district officers in ten towns of Lahore was held at the Punjab General Health Directorate on Saturday.
The Punjab chief minister posted these officers to monitor and control the dengue fever epidemic and supervise anti-mosquito spray and other activities at the town level. The newly-appointed officers were briefed about the preventive measures, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and case-management of dengue cases. They were also apprised of administrative and managerial matters for effective monitoring of the polio campaign.
Punjab Health Director General Aslam Chaudhry, EPI Health Director Arshad Iqbal Dar and CDC Health Director Mubashar Malik addressed the workshop.
