The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) on Saturday set-up four dengue screening centres to help people infected with dengue. The measure was taken as a result of an emergency meeting held by Lahore DHA Administrator Brigadier Aslam Rana, on the orders of Lahore Corps Commander and DHA President Lieutenant General Rashid Mehmood.
The dengue screening centres are located at Masjid Chowk Phase–1, opposite Beaconhouse School, W Block, Phase–3, Commercial Area Sector XX, Phase–3 and Commercial Area Phase–5. According to DHA spokesman Tajamul Hussain, these screening centres will commence operations on September 11, where free screening facilities will be provided to the general public.
