Responding to Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain’s allegation that Awami National Party had received millions of dollars from the US, ANP spokesman Senator Zahid Khan Saturday demanded a judicial probe to show which political party or organisation was receiving dollars from the US.
Talking to reporters outside the Parliament House, the ANP spokesman also added that the primary objective of Hussain’s press conference was to put pressure on judiciary, army and other law enforcement agencies to not to take action against the criminals belonging to MQM and to hide its involvement in Karachi killings.
“Altaf Hussain was talking nonsense during his speech because he was nervous. His senselessness and body gestures showed that the MQM leader was afraid of the suo moto action and the ongoing operation in Karachi,” Khan said, adding that Hussain’s allegations were ridiculous since he had admitted in the press conference that he had no evidence to prove his charges.
