Rural primary schools lack basic facilities

Despite tall claims made by the government for providing better educational facilities, about 109 primary schools situated in the rural areas of Islamabad are deprived of basic facilities.
The locals complained on Friday that these educational institutions had only been renamed as model schools but the ground realities remained the same, which was badly affecting the future of students.
The buildings of the schools situated in Bhara Kahu are dilapidated while stingy washrooms are causing different infections among the children.
Shortage of potable water is also big problem.
The residents of federal rural area have demanded the authorities concerned to take notice of the situation and ensure provision of basic facilities.
