The Rural Community Development Centre (RCDC) held free medical camps for people suffering from general and eye diseases at Punjran, Jigot, Noughazi and Bekkran on Friday.
Talking to APP, an official of the RCDC said that the camps were established under the aegis of Social Welfare and Special Education Directorate, Al-Shifa Eye Trust Hospital and local non-governmental organisations.
These camps provided free eye checkups, minor surgeries and free medicines and free consultation of eye specialists/ophthalmologist to the patients.
The services of doctors, audiologist and physiotherapist had been hired in this regard. Social case workers were also present in the camps for free consultation.
