Gujarpura Police arrested Tamoor Mushtaq, son of Mushtaq Ahmad, resident of Shalimar Town, on Thursday, while receiving Rs 20,000 in University of Engineering and Technology (UET) entry test paper leaking case.
According to UET’s handout, an FIR has been registered against Ahmad. Investigation for unearthing other members of the gang is in progress. The university authorities have advised potential candidates not to pay heed to any rumours about leakage of entry test papers. However, Civil Lines Investigations SP Malik Liaqat said Ahmad was presented in court and was granted bail.
He said that Ahmad did not have any entry test paper but he was only trying to swindle different locals by selling them a fake entry test paper.
