An out of order X-ray machine of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) produced a faulty X-ray of Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Thursday night, Pakistan Today has learnt.
The prime minister had visited the eye department of PIMS on Thursday night after feeling irritation in his eyes. After a thorough check-up, doctors sent him for chest X-ray. Sources in PIMS, who asked not to be named, told Pakistan Today that as the X-ray machine was not working properly, it developed a faulty X-ray of the prime minister.
He said the issue was also brought into the notice of the hospital’s administration. However, the administration stated that the machine was not faulty but electricity fluctuation had resulted in an unclear and faulty X-ray.
