Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) announced the intermediate results on Friday at the BISE Lawrence Road Examination Centre.
The results of the exams will be announced today at 10am. Medal awarding ceremony in the honour of position holders of intermediate examination 2011 will take place today at Alhamra. Punjab Minister (Education) Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman will be the chief guest for the occasion.
Hira Iftikhar of Kinnaird College (KC) Lahore secured the first position with 1039 out of 1100 marks. Javaria Tehzeeb (KC) secured second position with 1036 marks. Anam Manzoor (KC), Rubar Haider Jafri (KC) and Ali Ayub (Government Islamia College Civil Lines) secured the third position with 1028 marks. A student from Punjab College (PC), Anam Sadiq secured the first position in the Pre-Engineering group among girls with 1025 marks and all three positions in the commerce group were secured by PC students. Government College University (GCU) students Muhmmad Arslan Arshad, Ahmad Bani Sadar and Muhmmad Hamza got first, second and third positions with 1021, 1018 and 1013 marks respectively in the pre-medical group (among boys). Ayesha Zulfiqar (KC) and Maryum Khalid (KC) secured second and third positions with 1016 and 1015 marks in the Pre-Engineering group. Ashas Ahmed (GCU) secured the first position in the General Science group among boys with 992 marks and Abeera Shahbaz (Queen Marry College) with 985 marks topped among girls in the same group. Muhammad Ashfaq (PC) topped the Commerce group among boys with 975 marks and Fareeha Waseem (PC) with 994 marks topped in the same group among girls. A private candidate Hafiz Muhammad Yasin topped the humanities group among boys with 931 marks and Sara Zahid (Ghazali College for women) topped with 940 marks in the same group.
