Through your newspaper, I want to discuses the issue of terrorism & illiteracy in Pakistan. Terrorism is the worst form of illiteracy when people do not have the sense to realise the importance of innocent lives that are lost in the terrorist activities. No one can overlook the current situation in Karachi in which more than 1500 innocent people have lost their lives with out any reason in the current year alone.
Some people consider poverty as one of the major causes of terrorism. If people are given enough education to cope with their impoverished circumstances, this might prevent people from getting involved in criminal activities. I request to the government of Pakistan that they should draft a comprehensive policy with regards to education to reduce the illiteracy rate and hope that this increase in education will lead to a direct decrease in terrorism.
