Pakistan is likely to hand over senior al Qaeda leader Younis al-Mauritani, who was arrested a few days ago from Quetta, to the United States along with two other high-ranking operatives of the terrorist organisation. Mauritani, whose arrest was announced by the Pakistan Army on Monday, is suspected of directing attacks against the US, Europe, and Australia along with two accomplices, who were also arrested by the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Frontier Corps (FC) in a raid in the suburbs of Quetta.
