Meanwhile, a man was killed and buried inside a house allegedly by his wife and her friend. As per details, a man named Naseer had lodged an FIR at the Saeedabad police station that his friend, Zulfiqar, was kidnapped by unidentified persons. As the police started investigations, it was observed that the missing man’s wife, Salma, was living with the man who had lodged the FIR and they were arrested on suspicion.
During interrogation, it was revealed that Salma has fallen in love with Naseer and they planned to kill Zulfiqar, as he was the main hurdle between them getting married.
The arrested suspects told the police that they had killed Zulfiqar by suffocating him with a pillow while he was sleeping.
“Salma called me home when Zulfiqar was sleeping. She placed a pillow on the face of Zulfiqar and I choked his throat,” confessed Naseer.
The body of the deceased was later buried inside house No 514 in the Sajjanabad area of Saeedabad.
“I killed my husband with the help of Naseer as I want to be with him. We both planned to kill him as we wanted to live together and it was not possible in the presence of Zulfiqar,” said Salma.
Police have recovered the victim’s body from the house and registered FIR 510/2011 against the suspects.
