Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) Vice Chancellor (VC)Sabiha Mansoor has announced a comprehensive re-structuring plan for the varsity. Addressing staff members in the university auditorium, she disclosed that numerous new institutes, centres and facilities were being set up at LCWU as part of the restructuring programme.
Institute of Visual Arts and Design, Faculty of Management and Administrative Studies, Centre of Languages and Culture Studies, Department of Architecture, Career Centre and Institute of Women Issues were going to be established and committees, comprising senior faculty members, had been set up to set the rules and regulations for these new bodies. The VC said to facilitate graduate and postgraduate students, a refined nursery would be set up at the university. She announced the development programme for a central library and separate air-conditioned common rooms for faculty members, students and hostels residents.
