Wahdat Colony Police has arrested its SHO on the orders of DIG Operations Ghulam Mahmood Dogar on Tuesday after the SHO was found involved in setting three car lifters free from police custody.
Sources in police claimed that Wahdat Colony SHO Inspector Hamid Ali had released three accused persons from Wahdat Colony police station after taking bribe from them. The DIG then ordered an arrest of the SHO, after registering a case against him.
Sources also claimed that the alleged SHO had obtained bribe from three other bike lifters 15 days ago and had released them also.
