The Station House Officer (SHO), who had released six accused of robbery and theft caught red handed by others police officials,
has also fled away.
Police said that Wahdat Colony SHO Hamid took heavy bribe and set free the six accused of robbery and theft caught red handed by his subordinates police personnel. When the matter was brought to the notice of the higher officials, the SHO was arrested and locked up.
However, when the media teams reached the police station, it was revealed that the SHO had already fled away from the lock up.
Cases have been registered against the four police guards for negligence and facilitating the SHO to escape.
