Dengue fever grips Pakistan

The government of Pakistan seems to be unable to control the rising threat of dengue fever as scores of people have died while hospitals across Pakistan have been filled with infected people. The vector of the dangerous dengue fever is the Aedes Egyptii mosquito that lives on stagnant water and bites during the day. The number of dengue patients in Punjab has reached alarming numbers.

The health department should have conducted fumigation beforehand. The indifferent attitude of the government has put a question mark on its performance and competence. How many more lives is the government willing to sacrifice before it takes any serious step to thwart its onslaught?
