PM leaves for Kazakhstan today

Prime Minister Yuosaf Raza Gilani will reach Astana, Kazakhstan today (Tuesday) on a two-day visit on the Kazakh leadership’s invitation.
“Pakistan values its close relations with Kazakhstan. The prime minister’s visit is part of Pakistan’s policy of regional outreach and strengthening relations with its important neighbours,” said a foreign office statement issued on Monday. The Prime Minister will hold talks with President Nazarbayev Nursultan Abishevich and Prime Minister Karim Massimov.
“Pakistan and Kazakhstan belong to the same region. Both have shared interests in peace and stability of the region,” the statement said.
The prime minister and the Kazakh leadership will also consider further strengthening and expansion of bilateral relations.
