Police arrested a proclaimed offender involved in target killing in Karachi during a raid here on Monday.
According to ASI City Police Station, Altaf Hussain, a raid was conducted at Mazhar Fareed Colony of Sadiqabad on a tip off. He said during the raid, the police arrested the accused identified as Tahir Awan s/o Islam.
Police said that the detainee belongs to a political party and has been involved in target killing incidents in Karachi. The accused has been declared a proclaimed offender by Al-Falah Police Station for his involvement in murder attempt and other crimes.
The accused has been moved to undisclosed location for interrogation.
