The Punjab Electronic Media Journalists Association (PEMJA) and G Five Inter Media Cup Cricket Tournament will begin today at Wahdat Colony Ground here. The Inauguration ceremony of the tournament will be held at 7:30PM. MNA Hamza Shahbaz will be the chief guest of the opening ceremony. As many as 20 teams will participate in the matches which will be five-over-a-side. The teams of Aaj TV, APP, Samaa TV, Din TV, ARY, ENCA, Dunya News, Apna News, Express News, Rohi News, Geo News, Royal TV, City 42, News 5, CNBC, TNCA, Value TV, News One and others will take part in the event. In the other matches of the opening day, Samaa TV will meet Din news and ARY will take on ENCA, Dunya News will play Apna News, Express News will meet Rohi News, Geo News will take on Royal TV and City42 will meet News 5. The winner of the tournament will get trophy along with 50,000 rupees while Runners up team will get trophy and 25,000 rupees. The awards of the best player of each game, the tournament’s best batsman, best bowler, best wicket keeper and fielder will also be awarded.
