Pakistan has rejected American demand to hand over Dr Shakeel Afridi to USA who assisted CIA in Abbottabad operation in searching Osama Bin Ladin, by carrying out fake anti polio campaign.
A private TV channel reported that US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton telephoned President Asif Zardari some time ago, during conversation she asked President to hand over Dr Shakeel Afridi to USA by canceling his Pakistani citizenship. Whereas same demand was made by US Embassy in Islamabad as well as CIA.
Pakistan however refused the request by taking plea that the matter of seizing the nationality of Dr Afridi and handing him over to America would be dealt by the judicial commission, constituted to probe Abbottabad incident.
Pakistani officials also verified about the rejection of US demand.
