The recent press conference by Zulfiqar Mirza spilling the beans in all directions reminds of an incident narrated in the book The Last Moghul by a British author wherein an incident is reported when a British officer slapped a moghul resident of Delhi who slapped the British officer in return.
When taken to task by the court, the moghul citizen who was down and out otherwise, replied that his Taimuri blood boiled at being slapped by a British officer and he acted in retaliation. It appears the Moghul blood of Zulfiqar Mirza had also boiled to give a sizzling press conference which needs to be taken serious note thereof. The charges levied on MQM and Rehman Malik are too serious to be ignored and it is encouraging to note that the Supreme Court has taken notice to affix responsibility for the mayhem.
