250 Hindu pilgrims trapped in Hinglach

The local administration and Abdus Sattar Edhi are trying to rescue over 250 Hindu pilgrims trapped in Hinglach for the last five days because of the recent floods some 650Km south-west of Quetta. A report said they were visiting the Hinglach Matta temple on Eid Day (Wednesday), had got stuck there because of the rain and were now facing shortage of food and water. A team of district officials led by Deputy Commissioner Noor Ahmad Samo and Abdus Sattar Edhi started rescue operation on Sunday and boats and necessary food items including baby milk were transported to the site, which is 150 KM away from Hub. It said the operation may end by Monday. In another incident, Levi forces found a dead body of a two month old child in the outskirts of Pishin.
